UHABIA OJIKE, MANAGING PARTNER

Uhabia holds a B.Sc. in Banking & Finance from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and an MBA from the University of Manchester. He is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CITN).

With over 18 years of experience, he has vast audit and taxation expertise across various industries. These include providing audit, tax and advisory services for multinational companies in diverse industries which include oil and gas, telecommunications, insurance, banking, aviation, manufacturing, agricultural, construction, trading and educational industries.

Prior to joining Mazars, Uhabia spent over ten years working for Deloitte both locally and internationally.

He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and attended the Leading Professional Services Firm Program at Harvard Business School.

ELIZABETH ORLUIKE, PARTNER – AUDIT & ASSURANCE SERVICES 

Elizabeth is a Partner in our Audit & Assurance unit. She has extensive experience serving local and multi-national companies assisting them achieve their strategic financial objectives. She is responsible for the successful delivery of audit engagements to our clients in diverse industries and sectors and provides them with expert guidance on financial statement reviews and compilations, financial reporting, compliance regulations, financial and management advisory and internal control reviews.

Her specialties and expertise include providing assurance related services and audits performed in accordance with the International Standards on Auditing. She develops and prepares risk assessments and audit plans, identifies gaps in financial controls, reviews tests on clients' internal control procedures and policies, and makes practical recommendations.

Elizabeth holds a B.Sc. in Accounting, an MBA from the Business School Netherlands (BSN), and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). She is also the first female partner in the firm’s history.

OSAMUDIAME ADAMS, PARTNER – AUDIT & ASSURANCE SERVICES 

Adams brings an exciting, innovative and incisive perspective to any team having worked within the Financial Services, Manufacturing concerns as well Assurance Projects in several locations within Africa, the United States of America & United Kingdom (London) and with clients spanning through several sectors including banking, insurance, asset management, pensions, manufacturing etc.

Prior to joining Mazars, Adams had over 14 years work experience with Deloitte and Touche Nigeria, Deloitte US office – Columbus, Ohio and Deloitte London offices.

He is a regular ICAN facilitator, a Fellow of the Institute, Learning & Development enthusiast with vast expertise in Audit & Accounting Transformation, Future of Accounting and Future of Work, he coordinates programmes, learnings and coaching sessions within and outside Mazars.

PETER NWOFIA, PARTNER – TAX & REGULATORY SERVICES

Peter holds a bachelors degree in Accounting from the University of Nigeria and is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Texas, USA.

As a Partner in the Tax and Regulatory Services unit of the firm, he provides strategic direction and co-ordinates the provision of transfer pricing and tax advisory services to local and international businesses in a broad range of industries.

With over 10 years professional experience, Peter has been involved in major aspects of tax practice; varying from domestic taxes, international tax advisory, successful due diligence on M&A, transfer pricing planning and implementation, as well as support during tax audits and investigations.

Peter heads the Tax and Regulatory Services unit of the firm. He is also a member of the engagement quality control review team of the firm.
