The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing clients’ engagements and provide exceptional high-level leadership to the team and department

Job description

• Analyze historical and current financial data and statements
• Evaluate financial performance
• Conduct valuation and develop business financial models for strategic decisions
• Review, monitor, and manage budgets
• Posses a good understanding of the capital market
• Provide transaction advisory from a sell-side and a buy-side perspective
• Develop strategies that work to minimize financial risk
• Analyze market trends, forecasts, and competitors
• Conduct feasibility studies and develop business plans
• Assist clients in investment decisions and capital raise
• Advise clients on optimizing capital structure to increase shareholders' value
• Conduct transaction due diligence
• Assist in proposal preparation to generate leads
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement within an organization.

 Skills

• Proven work experience in corporate finance, financial analysis and planning.
• Ability to develop a good relationship and understanding of client’s business
• Strong leadership and coaching skills

 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/HND in Accounting/Banking/Finance/Economics 
• A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management or related field from a reputable university will be an added advantage
• Certification in at least one of the following, ICAN/ACCA/CFA
• Minimum of 7 years of financial advisory experience
